A simple approach for enhanced immune response using engineered dendritic cell targeted nanoparticles
چکیده انگلیسی
► A simple strategy to formulate DC targeted PLGA nanoparticles (NPs) is reported. ► Ovalbumin-loaded biotinylated NPs were formulated using biotin-PEG-PLGA polymer. ► A recombinant bifunctional fusion protein (bfFp) is used as a DC targeting ligand. ► BfFp with OVA loaded NPs yields a versatile two-component antigen delivery system. ► DC targeted formulations along with αCD40 significantly enhance immune responses.
