Immunogenicity of a meningococcal serogroup C conjugate vaccine in HIV-infected children, adolescents, and young adults

► Children with HIV have a lower response to immunization. ► No previous studies with meningococcal C conjugate vaccine in AIDS patients. ► 81.4% HIV-infected patients reached protection post vaccination. ► Meningococcal C vaccine was considered effective and safe for HIV-infected patients.
