Formation of a heterojunction by electrophoretic deposition of CdTe/CdSe nanoparticles from an exhaustible source

► CdSe- and CdTe-nanoparticles were deposited by electrophoretic deposition. ► The nanoparticle suspension was completely depleted after deposition. ► A charge selective CdTe-/CdSe-nanoparticle heterojunction was formed.
