Atopic dermatitis despite the years of research is still a big challenge for all doctors. Errors committed by healthcare professionals as well as by patients and their parents are the major sources of therapeutic failures. Two aspects of atopic dermatitis treatment are crucial: maintaining the skin barrier and anti-inflammatory treatment. In this paper we have concentrated on the latter aspects of treatment.
