La maladie dermatophytique : à propos d'un cas clinique

Dermatophytic disease is a rare infection. The fungus is isolated from superficial and visceral locations. Threats are described in North Africa where disease has familial presentation with recessive autosomal transmission. Chronic fungi infection assembling superficial and profound locations lead us to discuss the formal disease. Our patient has dander fungi infection since the age of 3 years. With growth, she presented many other lesions like scalp infection, glabrous skin involvement, abscesses and lymphadenopathies of tuberculous origin. Trichophyton violaceum was identified on abscess pus. She received many prolonged antifungal cures (griseofulvin, terbinafin, fluconazol) with relapse every time. Cellular and humoral immunity were normal within technical performances in Tunisia. She died at 24 years age from septic shock. Dermatophytic disease management is difficult. There's an immunological tolerance towards dermatophytes. A better knowledge of associated immune deficiency and better prolonged treatments are necessary to improve the medical and social prognosis of this disabling disease.
