Comparative analysis of eight cytotoxicity assays evaluated within the ACuteTox Project

► An effective clustering methodology to identify unique assays for predicting human toxicity is shown. ► Cluster analysis based on neurotoxicants and hepatotoxicants provided similar results. ► The type of assay has greater impact upon clustering results than the origin of the liver cells used.
