Genotoxicity and development effects of brominated flame retardant PBDEs and UV-exposed PBDEs on grass shrimp (Palaemonetes pugio) embryo

► PBDEs had no difference on hatching rate between stage 4 and stage 8 embryo of grass shrimp. ► PBDEs had no influence on DNA of grass shrimp stage 7 embryo. ► UV-exposed BDE-47 decreased the hatching rate, suggesting a potential embryo toxicity.
