Miocene potassic granite-syenite association in western Tibetan Plateau: Implications for shoshonitic and high Ba-Sr granite genesis
چکیده انگلیسی
► We investigate two Miocene plutons in western Tibetan Plateau. ► They show an association of granite and syenite. ► They are shoshonitic with very high Ba (up to 9100 ppm) and Sr (up to 3100 ppm) concentrations. ► They were derived by partial melting of a slab melt-hybridized lithospheric mantle. ► The continental slab break-off was the mechanism associated with their origin.
