Source of Mesozoic intermediate-felsic igneous rocks in the North China craton: Granulite xenolith evidence

► We provide age and geochemical data for two Hannuoba SiO2-rich granulite xenoliths. ► Although with Mesozoic zircons, the two xenoliths have not undergone partial melting. ► They do not contribute to the Mesozoic intermediate-felsic magmas. ► The source of the Mesozoic intermediate-felsic igneous rocks is < 62 wt % in SiO2. ► The source has ages and Sr-Nd isotopes similar to late Archean terrain granulites.
