Radiocarbon-calibrated multiple amino acid geochronology of Holocene molluscs from Bramble and Rib Reefs (Great Barrier Reef, Australia)

► We create calibration curves using seven different amino acids for each of three taxa. ► We evaluate the quality of each calibration curve using the maximum inferred age. ► We use the inferred ages from the most consistent curves to calculate the weighted mean inferred age for each specimen. ► All three taxa yield highly quality geochronological signals. ► The top 1.4 m of sediment are age-homogenous and all three taxa yield similar mean age estimates.
