► Activity concentrations of anthropogenic radionuclides in the Barents Sea are low. ► Dose rates to man from anthropogenic radionuclides via seafood are not a concern. ► Dose rates to biota from anthropogenic radionuclides below 10 μGy/h screening level. ► Dose rates to man and biota are dominated by naturally occurring radionuclides.
