L’énurésie nocturne primaire : un cas de pédopsychiatrie ordinaire

RésuméL’article développe une réflexion à propos d’un symptôme pédopsychiatrique, somme toute assez banal en termes de fréquence, à savoir l’énurésie primaire nocturne. Dans une société à la recherche d’une compréhension rationnelle des phénomènes et de la mise en place de thérapeutiques éprouvées, il est intéressant de constater que l’énurésie met en échec les canevas de traitements trop exclusifs demandant de la sorte une approche évaluative large et une modalité d’accompagnement basé sur le respect du rythme de l’enfant et de son entourage. À partir d’une vignette clinique, l’auteur développe la pertinence de format d’entretien incluant l’enfant et le parent où le symptôme, s’il est présent, est loin d’être centralement abordé. Par ailleurs, une considération des différents traitements montre la nécessité d’une position clinique structurée, structurante mais non directement confrontante.

This article develops a reflection in connection with a symptom childpsychiatric, altogether rather banal in terms of frequency, namely the night primary enuresis. In a society in search of a rational comprehension of the phenomena and installation of therapeute tested, it is interesting to note that the enuresis puts in failure the too exclusive groundworks of treatment requiring kind a broad evaluative approach and a method of support based on the respect of the rythm of the child and his family. Starting from a clinical case, the author develops the relevance of format of talks including the child and the parent where the symptom if it is present is far from being centrally approched. In addition, a consideration of the various treatments shows the need for a structured clinical position, structuring but not directly confronting.
