Small GTPases Rap1 and RhoA regulate superoxide formation by Rac1 GTPases activation during the phagocytosis of IgG-opsonized zymosans in macrophages
چکیده انگلیسی
► RhoA is essential for superoxide production by IgG-opsonized zymosan (IOZ) in macrophages. ► Rap1 also regulates superoxide generation by IOZ. ► RhoA and Rap1 rescue superoxide production in response to IOZ that were previously suppressedby Rap1 and RhoA defects, respectively. ► Rap1 activates Rac1, a component of the NADPH oxidase complex, via Vav2 GEF by IOZ. ► RhoA induces the release of Rac1 from Rac1-RhoGDI complex by competitive complex formation of phospho-RhoA-RhoGDI in response to IOZ.
