Synthesis of the 3-sulfates of S-acyl glutathione conjugated bile acids and their biotransformation by a rat liver cytosolic fraction
چکیده انگلیسی
► The 3-sulfates of glutathione conjugated bile acids (BA-GSH) were synthesized. ► The properties of the BA-GSH 3-sulfates were characterized by negative-ion ESI-MS/MS. ► The sulfation of BA-GSH was determined by monitoring characteristic transition ions. ► A little sulfation of the BA-GSH occurred at C-3 in a rat liver cytosolic fraction. ► Sulfation was proportional to the hydrophobicity of the unconjugated bile acids.
