Analysis of the effects of human activities on the hydromorphological evolution channel of the Saint-Maurice River downstream from La Gabelle dam (Quebec, Canada)

► The hydromorphology evolution channel of St-Maurice River was analyzed. ► The seasonal daily maximum flow decreased in spring, in summer and in fall. ► The longitudinal variability of bankfull width shows two significant shifts in mean. ► No significant change in the mean of bankfull width over time was observed. ► A significant increase in the surface area of islets was observed.
