Evaluation of lindane diffusion along the southeastern Adriatic coastal strip (Mediterranean Sea): A case study in an Albanian industrial area

► In this study we analyze the lindane diffusion in the sediments of the Adriatic Sea. ► The fish lindane concentration was determined in the Adriatic Sea. ► The average concentrations of lindane in the fish muscles did not exceed the limits. ► The liver lindane concentration exceeded the limits and it is not recommended to eat.
