چکیده انگلیسی
► We compare the independent and combined effects of w-3 and PS on non-HDL cholesterol. ► PS was significantly beneficial in lowering non-HDL-C while w-3 was not. ► The combination (w-3 + PS) also reduced non-HDL-C, though non-significantly. ► The combination as a non-pharmacological approach can offer prevention from risk factor development. ► Findings are pertinent especially in India because of accruing chronic disease burden.
