آشنایی با موضوع

طیف سنجی یا اسپکتروسکوپی جذب اتمی Atomic absorption spectroscopy به اختصار AAS بر پایه اصل جذب نور توسط اتم های آزاد بنا نهاده شده است. تمامی اتم ها در طول موج مختص خودشان (بر پایه نیاز اتم به انرژی) نور جذب می کنند. به بیان دیگر هر عنصری در طول موج منحصر بفرد و خاصی نور را جذب نموده و در طول موج های دیگر هیچ نوری جذب نمی نماید. برای مثال در نمونه ای با چندین عنصر (فرض کنید مس، سرب، آهن و نیکل)، مس تنها نوری را جذب می نماید که ویژگی های طول موجی مس Cu را دارد. به علاوه میزان نور جذب شده نسبت مستقیم با حضور تعداد عنصر مورد نظر در مسیر نور دارد. دستگاه جذب اتمی از تجهیزات آزمایشگاهی است که کاربرد های بسیاری در حوزه آنالیز عناصر بخصوص فلزات سنگین دارد. طیف سنجی جذب اتمی یکی از روش های طیف سنجی است که به وسیله ی آن می توان با دقت بالایی غلظت عناصر فلزی موجود در یک نمونه را تعیین نمود. طیف جذبی یک عنصر در شکل گازی و اتمی آن یک سری خطوط باریک کاملا مشخص است که از جهش های الکترونی بیرونی ترین الکترون ها بوجود می آیند. الکترون های لایه ظرفیت اتم، تابش الکترومغناطیس در گستره فوق بنفش و مرئی را جذب یا نشر می کند. در اتم های آزاد، بر خلاف مولکول ها که دارای ترازهای انرژی ارتعاشی و چرخشی است، فقط جهش های الکترونی صورت می گیرد. به همین دلیل وقتی که انرژی توسط اتم ها جذب یا نشر می شود، خطوط طیفی مجزا مشاهده می شود، که اساس روش های طیف بینی اتمی است. موارد کاربرد: 1- آنالیز ناخالصی‌های ناچیز در آلیاژها و معرف‌های مورد استفاده در پروسه تولید. 2- آنالیزهای مربوط به آب 3- آنالیز نمونه‌های تهیه شده در تماس مستقیم با هوا. 4- آنالیز مستقیم جامداتی چون سنگ معدن‌ها و فلزات محدودیت‌ها: 1- حوزه تشخیص از حدود قسمت در بیلیون تا قسمت در میلیون می‌باشد. 2- توانائی آنالیز مستقیم (بدون واسطه) گازهای نجیب، هالوژنها، گوگرد، کربن یا نیتروژن را ندارد. 3- حساسیت آن در حد مورد اکسیدهای دیرگداز یا عناصر موجود در کربیدها نسبت به روش طیف‌سنجی از طریق نشر پلاسمائی اتمی ضعیف می‌باشد. 4- اساساً یک روش تک جزئی (تک منظوره) می باشد.
