آشنایی با موضوع

استروژن(به انگلیسی: Estrogen )نام گروهی از هورمونهای جنسی زنانه است که در انسان در سیکل طبیعی تخمدان در مرحله فولیکولی (follicullar) از تخمک آزاد می‌شود. طی دوران بارداری، مقدار زیادی از استروژن‌ها ترشح می‌شود. هورمون‌ها دسته‌ای از مواد شیمیایی هستند که در بدن تولید می‌شوند و انجام برخی از کارهای بدن را تنظیم می‌کنند. این مواد به مقدار بسیار اندکی در بدن وجود دارند، ولی همین مقدار کم آنها می‌تواند اثرات بسیاری بر حفظ وضعیت طبیعی بدن داشته باشد و کمبود همین مقدار اندک یا زیاد شدن آن می‌تواند سبب ایجاد برخی بیماری‌های مهم در انسان شود؛ مثلا کمبود هورمون انسولین باعث دیابت می‌شود و زیاد شدن هورمون‌های مردانه در بدن خانم ها سبب پرمویی نابجا در آن ها می شود. هورمون‌ها از غدد مخصوصی در بدن ترشح می شوند که در مورد هورمون‌های جنسی، این غدد تخمدان ها در خانم ها و بیضه ها در مردان هستند. در واقع استروژن نام یک هورمون در بدن نیست و این نام به دسته‌ای از هورمون‌ها اطلاق می‌شود. سه هورمون استروژن مهم که در بدن خانم‌ها تولید می‌شوند، استریول، استرادیول و استرون هستند. استروژن‌ها عمدتا در تخمدان‌ها ساخته می‌شوند و به نام هورمون‌های زنانه شناخته می‌شوند. البته آقایان نیز مقدار کمی از این هورمون را در بیضه‌های خود تولید می‌کنند. استروژن در خانم ها در سیکل طبیعی تخمدان، در مرحله فولیکولی از تخمک آزاد می شود. استرادیول از موثرترین استروژن‌های طبیعی است و احتمالاً هورمونی حقیقی است. استروژن‌ها باعث رشد دستگاه تولیدمثلی زن و ایجاد صفات زنانه مثل بزرگ شدن سینه‌ها در جنس مونث و داشتن صدای ظریف زنانه می‌شوند. این هورمون‌ها در دوران کودکی ترشح بسیار کمی دارند و در هنگام بلوغ ترشح آنها زیاد می‌شود. به همین دلیل در این هنگام اندام‌های جنسی از حالت کودکانه درمی‌آید و شبیه افراد بزرگسال می‌شود. استروژن‌ها فعالیت استخوان‌سازی را نیز افزایش می‌دهند، بنابراین هنگام بلوغ افزایش قد دختران سریع‌تر از قبل می‌شود. استروژن‌ها همچنین توزیع چربی را در بدن به فرم زنانه درمی‌آورند، یعنی بیشتر در سینه‌ها، باسن و ران‌ها. استروژن ها با اتصال به گیرنده استروژنی در سیتوپلاسم، باعث افزایش میزان ساخته شدن DNA و RNA و پروتئین‌های دیگر در بافت هدف می‌شوند. استروژن در جدار رحم باعث رشد و پرخونی آندومتر (دیواره داخلی رحم) می شود. همچنین در هیپوتالاموس میزان آزاد شدن هورمون محرک غدد جنسی تحت تاثیر استروژن کاهش پیدا می‌کند و در غده هیپوفیز آزاد شدن FSH و LH کاهش می‌یابد. استروژن‌ها یک اثر جالب نیز بر روی پوست دارند، به این معنی که نه تنها باعث نرمی و لطافت پوست می‌شوند، بلکه سبب می‌شوند تا رگ‌های خونی بیشتری در سطح پوست ایجاد شوند. به همین دلیل وقتی پوست یک زن می‌برد بیشتر از بریدگی پوست یک مرد خونریزی می‌کند. بعد از یائسگی تقریبا هیچ استروژنی در بدن تولید نمی‌شود، بنابراین فعالیت استخوان‌سازی در بدن بسیار کاهش می‌یابد. این حالت اگر شدید باشد، منجر به بروز پوکی استخوان در سنین بعد از یائسگی در زنان می‌شود. استروژن در دوران بارداری نیز نقش مهمی در بدن زن ایفا می‌کند که همگی آن ها در راستای آماده‌سازی بدن مادر برای پذیرش جنین هستند. طی دوران بارداری، مقدار زیادی از استروژن‌ها ترشح می‌شوند. این هورمون در دوران حاملگی از جفت نیز ترشح می‌شود و باعث بزرگ شدن رحم و سینه‌ها و رشد مجاری شیری در پستان ها می‌شود. اثر جالب دیگر استروژن در این دوران این است که برای آسان‌تر شدن زایمان، به مفاصل لگن مادر حالت ارتجاعی می‌بخشد. البته استروژن‌ها تاثیرات دیگری نیز بر روی زنان دارند که به تازگی کشف شده‌اند؛ مثلا معلوم شده که این هورمون‌ها باعث زیباتر شدن زنان می‌شوند و بر روی ظاهر صورت و بدن آنان اثر می‌گذارند. این هورمون‌ها علاوه بر کمک به توانایی باروری زنان، آنها را زیباتر نیز می‌کنند و بر طبق قانون بقای نسل، مردان جلب زنانی می‌شوند که در ظاهر زیباتر بوده و از نظر قدرت باروری نیز برترند. یکی دیگر از اثرات تازه کشف شده استروژن تاثیری است که بر دقت زنان دارد. دانشمندان می‌گویند این هورمون‌ها باعث می‌شوند که زنان در کارهایی که توسط بخش پیشانی مغز کنترل می‌شوند و نیاز به دقت دارند مانند رانندگی، از مردان موفق ترعمل کنند.
