آشنایی با موضوع

تمام گیاهان فتوسنتز کننده دارای کلروفیل a هستند ولی وجود کلروفیلهای کمکی (فرعی) مثل b، c و d بستگی به نوع گیاه دارد. مثلا در گیاهان عالی معمولا کلروفیل b دیده می‌شود. در حالی که در جلبکهای سبز- آبی و قهوه‌ای و سرخ این کلروفیل وجود ندارد. رنگیزه‌های کلروفیل موجود در باکتریهای فتوسنتز کننده را باکتریو کلروفیل می‌نامند و دو نوع a و b از آن یافت می‌شود. کلروفیل a فرم خاصی از کلروفیل مورد استفاده در فتوسنتز اکسیژن است. این بیشترین انرژی را از طول موج های بنفش آبی و نارنجی قرمز جذب می کند. همچنین این کلروفیل نور سبز را نشان می دهد و به همین ترتیب به رنگ سبز مشاهده شده بیشتر گیاهان کمک می کند. این رنگدانه برای فتوسنتز در اواکریوت ها، سینو باکتری ها و پروکلروفیدها به دلیل نقش آن به عنوان اهدا کننده الکترون اصلی در زنجیره حمل و نقل الکترون ضروری است. کلروفیل a برای اکثر موجودات فتوسنتزی ضروری است تا انرژی شیمیایی را آزاد کنند. اما تنها رنگدانه ای نیست که بتوان آن را برای فتوسنتز استفاده کرد. همه ارگانیزم های فتوسنتزی اکسیژن از کلروفیل a استفاده می کنند، اما در رنگدانه های جانبی مانند کلروفیل b متفاوت هستند. ساختار مولکولی کلروفیل a شامل یک حلقه کلر است که چهار اتم نیتروژن آن یک اتم مرکزی را احاطه کرده و دارای چندین زنجیره جانبی متصل شده و یک هیدروکربن. کلروفیل a حاوی یون منیزیم است که در ساختار حلقه بزرگ شناخته شده به عنوان یک کلرین تعبیر شده است. حلقه کلر یک ترکیب هتروسیکلیک است که مشتق شده از پیرول است. چهار اتم نیتروژن از کلرین فراگیر هستند و اتم منیزیم به آنها متصل است. تنها منیزیمی که در مرکز قرار دارد، ساختار را به عنوان یک مولکول کلروفیل تعریف می کند. حلقه پورفیرین باکتریوکلروفیل اشباع شده است و بدون جابجایی پیوندهای یگانه و دوگانه، موجب تغییر در جذب نور می شود. نقش کلروفیل a در مرحله انرژی فتوسنتز بسیار مهم است. برای ادامه فتوسنتز دو الکترون باید به یک گیرنده الکترون منتقل شوند. کلروفیل a جذب نور در طول موج های بنفش، آبی و قرمز در حالی که به طور عمده منعکس کننده سبز است. این بازتاب، کلروفیل را سبز می کند. تفاوت ساختاری کلروفیل a با کلروفیل b در سومین کربن آنهاست. در کلروفیل a یک گروه متیل (CH3) به کربن شماره 3 متصل است در حالی که در کلروفیل b یک گروه آلدئیدی (O=HC) به این کربن چسبیده است.
