آشنایی با موضوع

پلی پلوئید Polyploid جانداران یا سلول‌هایی هستند که دارای بیش از دو سری کروموزوم هاپلوئید هستند. دستگی Ploidy در ژنتیک به‌شمار دسته‌های کروموزوم‌ها گفته می‌شود که با هم جور هستند که این کروموزوم‌های جور را، به ویژه در برخی از مرحله‌های تقسیم یاخته، در کنار هم می‌توان یافت. پلی پلوئیدی گسترده ترین فرآیند سلولی متأثر کننده تکامل گیاهی است. هر چند که پلی پلوئیدی به نوبه خود به عنوان یک ناهنجاری به نظر می رسد ولی یکی از سریعترین وگسترده ترین اثرات آن در گیاهان، افزایش اندازه سلول میباشد. در حالی که حیوانات پلی پلوئید تمایل به حفظ اندازه جثه خود با کاهش تعداد سلولها در اثر پلی پلوئیدی دارند اما گیاهان پلی پلوئید بیشتر اندامهای گیاهی درشت تری داشته، بنابراین از لحاظ اکولوژیک و زاد و ولدی با گیاهان دیپلوئید متفاوت می گردند. پلی پلوئیدی در بیش از 80 درصد گیاهان دیده شده و بیانگر 4-2 درصد حوادث گونه زایی در گیاهان گلدار و 7 درصد در خزه ها می باشد. لی پلوئیدی مصنوعی یک تکنیک موثر و کارا برای افزایش تولید متابولیت های ثانویه در گونه های گیاهان دارویی و معطر است. پراکندگی: اغلب یوکاریوتها دیپلوئید هستند یعنی دو دسته کروموزوم مشابه دارند ولی برخی جانداران به ویژه گیاهان پلی پلوئید (دارای سه یا بیشتر دسته کروموزوم مشابه) هستند. جانورانی مانند کرم‌های پهن، زالو و آرتمیا از این جمله‌اند. در گیاهان ۳۰ تا هشتاد درصد بخصوص گیاهان گلدار پلی پلوئید هستند. پلی پلوییدی می‌تواند به دو روش بوجود آید. در اتوپلی پلوییدی Autopolyploidy همه کروموزوم‌ها از یک گونه هستند. در آلوپلی پلوئیدی Allopolyploidy کروموزوم ها شامل هیبریدی از کروموزوم های دو گونه متفاوت هستند.
